... to St Barnabas, Claverham. Our little church is a real gem and much loved by all who come to it. Court de Wyck pupils often use it for some of their school lessons.
St Barnabas has 13 regular worshippers and 18 on the Electoral Roll. There is a depth of prayer and commitment that indicates a deep faithfulness in following our Lord. We have a combination of formal and informal services.
The church is a flexible space with moveable chairs rather than pews. It is used for regular coffee mornings and for the first time in 2017 it was used by North Somerset Arts during their biennual county-wide arts week. The school also use it for worship and as a teaching resource. There is scope for greater use of the building, possibly for retreat days, small meetings or local community groups
