Welcome


Welcome to the 'Yatton Moor' and 'Cleeve with Claverham' parishes. We are a friendly, lively group of five churches, who are in the process of moving from a team ministry to a group ministry. Over the years a positive collaboration has been established. Blessed with the generosity and expertise of people in both parishes we have come to appreciate each other's strengths and differences. Across the five churches there will be one full time post in Yatton Moor and one HFD in Cleeve with Claverham working together as equals. Both posts are currently vacant. The group structure reflects better how we now work together sharing a common rota of services, an administrator and shared social events, services and resources such as the safeguarding and pastoral care teams.

Each of our five village churches are different in character, but all offer a warm welcome, whether you are new to the area or are already part of the community. We are situated in North Somerset, 12 miles South West of Bristol, England. Our five churches are:-


  • St Barnabas, Claverham

  • Holy Trinity, Cleeve

  • St John the Evangelist, Kenn

  • All Saints', Kingston Seymour

  • St Mary the Virgin, Yatton



Church Opening


Across the Yatton Moor Team the churches are usually open to visitors and for private prayer during the following times:
St. Marys, Yatton:
  Wednesday to Sunday: 10am to 4pm
St. Marys Church will be closed to the general public on Thursday 23rd January 2025 as we prepare and hold the Funeral for Norah Broomfield.

All Saints Kingston Seymour:
  Every day: 10am to 4pm

St. Johns, Kenn:
  Every day: 8.30/9am to 5pm; Daylight hours in the Winter

Morning Prayer Zoom Service
Tuesdays & Wednesdays

You are invited to join a Morning Prayer Zoom Service on Tuesdays & Wednesdays Starting at 8.15am.
Note - there will be No Morning Prayer after 15th January 2025. It will re-commence on Tuesday 11th February 2025.
