St. Barnabas, Claverham

Welcome

... to St Barnabas, Claverham. Our little church is a real gem and much loved by all who come to it.

St Barnabas, Claverham is a chapel of ease to Holy Trinity, Cleeve, both churches work very much together and the Claverham congregation join into many of the events held in Cleeve. (See Holy Trinity, Cleeve for more information) The church wardens at Cleeve oversee services at St Barnabas amply supported by the Claverham congregation.

Regular worshippers for St Barnabas and Holy Trinity are 34 as of 2023, on average attendance at services is 18-20. There is a depth of prayer and commitment that indicates a deep faithfulness in following our Lord. Services are shared alternately with Holy Trinity.

Cleeve with Claverham have a thriving Mothers' Union. See Mother's Union for more information.

The church is a flexible space with moveable chairs rather than pews and is easily accessible. It is used for meetings and since 2017 it has been used by North Somerset Arts during their biennial county-wide arts week.
